Northern Nevada
Residential Window Cleaning
Your windows frame the Sierra. They should not be the thing you notice.

Northern Nevada is hard on residential glass. Wind carries fine high-desert dust onto every pane, spring pollen sticks to it, wildfire season leaves a film that a garden hose only smears around, and winter road grit finds its way onto ground-floor windows. Most homes here look noticeably dimmer by the end of a season, and the change is so gradual that homeowners stop seeing it.
We clean the whole window, not just the pane you can reach. That means interior and exterior glass, screens pulled and washed, tracks vacuumed and scrubbed, and sills wiped down before we leave. On a typical home it is one visit, one crew, and one honest price agreed on before the first drop of water hits the glass.

Worth Knowing
What Nevada does to home windows
High-desert dust and wind
Valley wind lifts fine silt off open ground and drives it against the windward side of your house. It bonds to glass in a thin, even haze that a hose will not lift.
Hard water from sprinklers
Overspray from lawn irrigation is the single biggest cause of permanently spotted residential glass in this region. Caught early it washes off. Left for years it etches in.
Smoke season film
Late-summer wildfire smoke settles an oily residue on exterior glass that traps dust behind it. It needs detergent and a blade, not water.
Snowmelt and road grit
Plowed and sanded roads throw grit onto lower windows all winter. It sits in the tracks, holds moisture, and grinds against the glass when the window slides.
How It Goes
The Process
Walk the house with you
We count the glass, look at the condition, flag anything unusual like stuck screens or hard water damage, and give you a firm price.
Screens and tracks first
Screens come out and get washed separately. Tracks are vacuumed before any water goes near them, so we lift grit out instead of turning it into mud.
Wash, blade, detail
Glass is scrubbed with detergent, pulled with a squeegee, and the edges detailed by hand. Sills and frames get wiped as we go.
Walk it again
We go window to window with you in the light. Anything you are not happy with, we redo before we pack up.
Our Promise
If you spot a streak, a missed corner, or a mark we left behind, tell us and we fix it on the spot. If you find it after we have gone, call and we come back.
What It Costs
Residential work is priced per pane, with the rate depending on the size of the window and how much work it needs. A typical home lands in a predictable range once we know the window count. Estimates are free and the quoted price is what you pay.

Residential Questions
Do you clean the inside of the windows too?
Yes. Most residential jobs are inside and out. We lay down protection, work clean, and leave your floors and sills the way we found them. If you only want the exterior done, that is an option and it costs less.
Do I need to be home?
For exterior-only work, no. For interior work someone needs to let us in, but you do not have to follow us around. We will walk the finished job with whoever is there at the end.
How often should I have my windows cleaned?
Twice a year suits most Northern Nevada homes: once after the spring pollen drops and once after wildfire season. Homes with sprinkler overspray on the glass or a lot of exposure to open desert do better on a quarterly schedule.
What if my screens are torn?
We will show you and give you the option to have them repaired. Screen repair is something we handle, so it does not need to be a separate call to a separate company.
Will you move my furniture?
We will move small, light items out of the way ourselves. Moving heavy or fragile furniture falls outside what our insurance covers, so we ask that you clear those pieces away from the windows before we arrive. It keeps your belongings protected and lets us do the job properly.
Is hard water stain removal included?
No, that is a separate service and it is priced separately. A standard cleaning removes what is sitting on the glass. Mineral deposits that have bonded to the surface need dedicated treatment, which takes longer and uses different products. If we find etched glass while quoting your home, we will show you and price it so you can decide.
