Reno is the biggest and most varied market we serve. Old Southwest has century-old bungalows with divided-light windows under mature trees. Caughlin Ranch and Somersett sit up in the foothills with the large modern glass that makes the view worth paying for. Damonte Ranch and the South Meadows are newer, more uniform, and full of the two-story elevations that homeowners cannot safely reach themselves. Midtown and downtown are storefront and mixed-use.
The foothill neighborhoods are where clean glass matters most, because the entire reason those homes cost what they do is the view west into the Sierra or east across the Truckee Meadows. Softer water than the rest of our area
Reno runs on Truckee River water through Truckee Meadows Water Authority, which is far softer than the groundwater in Carson or Dayton. Hard water damage still happens, but it is usually from a well or a specific misaimed sprinkler rather than the supply itself.
Wildfire smoke film
The Truckee Meadows traps late-summer smoke against the Sierra. It leaves an oily residue on exterior glass that holds dust behind it and does not come off with water alone.
